Paying for parcels is not recommended, as it can take months or even years to recoup your investment. What Is Atlas Earth?
Atlas Earth is a location-based game where you buy virtual land tied to real-world maps. Each parcel you own generates passive rent in real time, and you can eventually withdraw real cash once your balance reaches at least $5. You start with one free parcel, and you can grow your holdings by earning Atlas Bucks (AB), the in-game currency. With a Free-To-Play approach this will take time to build up that compound earning, but I easily complete my daily ads and boosts while I'm working, getting ready for bed, or just watching TV.
The key to this app is to accrue AB through simple tasks like watching ads, collecting gems, and playing mini games and then using those AB to purchase plots of land on the map. As you accrue more land, you'll earn more rent per second. I suggest rather than withdrawing your $5 when you reach that milestone, to use it to invest in more plots to continue building that passive income. You can watch one ad every 20 minutes to earn 2 AB per ad. If you're casually active throughout the day, watching around 18 ads will get you 36 AB daily. That’s enough for one free parcel about every 3 days.
3. Ad Boosting for Rent Multiplier
Each ad you watch for boosting increases your rent rate for 1 hour. You can stack boosts up to 6 hours at a time. If you keep your rent boosted for about 12 hours daily (by stacking ads twice a day), you can nearly double your base rent earnings.
4. Reinvesting Rent into New Parcels
Instead of withdrawing rent immediately, you can convert your cash into Atlas Bucks to buy more land. This compounds your rent income over time. Wait until the end of the month or end of year as they will increase the exchange rate. For example, the regular exchange rate is 20 AB per $1. At the end of the month, they boost this to 33 AB per $1. After about 2 months of playing I converted about $3 of earned rent into another plot of land. If you were a pay-to-play player, you would have dished out $5 for a single plot. That's a $2 savings. And it only gets easier and faster to exchange once you have more land.
5. Picking Up Map Bonuses
Walking around or commuting may reveal bonus Atlas Bucks or diamonds on the map. It’s an easy way to supplement your earnings just by keeping the app open during your daily routine. I'll just open up my app on my walk to get a coffee in the morning and usually grab 2-3 gems along the way. These gems can then be used to spin a wheel to win up to 50 AB. I have spun a 50 AB win within the two months I've been playing!
